GeneralEsomeprazole (generic Nexium) is used to treat Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), and Erosive Esophagitis, and other conditions involving excessive stomach acid production. |
General Esomeprazole should be taken at least one hour before meals. Anyway the time taken by Nexium to act would depend upon whether you have taken it on an empty stomach or a full one. It is recommended that Generic Nexium be taken in 20 mg. - 40 mg. capsules once a day. |
General Esomeprazole, side effects may include such things as headache, diarrhea, stomach pain, gas or dry mouth.. |
General Before taking Esomeprazole, tell your doctor if you have ever had any type of liver disease. Use of Esomeprazole in pregnant women has not been adequately evaluated. |
General There are no documented interactions between Esomeprazole and your other medications. |
